Polyglactin 910

Polyglactin 910 is a synthetic, absorbable suture with good tissue compatibility and reliable knot security. It is used for soft-tissue approximation and is absorbed in the body by hydrolysis.

• Retains 70 % of its tensile strength in the first week
• Absorption by hydrolysis: broken down to glycolic acid, complete within 56–70 days
• Poly(glycolide-co-lactide) 90/10, coated
• Needle: 3/8 circle, reverse cutting
• Sizes USP 4/0 and 5/0, needle length 16 mm or 19 mm
